Duluth Grill’s relatively new retail counter has some homemade favorites like peanut butter, olive tapenade and smoked salmon from sister restaurant OMC Smokehouse.

There is also house-made sauerkraut, kimchi and lemonade.

It’s a “one-stop shop,” according to storefront manager Laura Watkins, who recently offered a tasting to editor Holly Henry.

The grocery case at the front of the store also has packages of Beyond Meat — a pea protein burger that is meat-, dairy- and soy-free, and the makings for a carryout picnic of meat and cheese, complete with ice.
