Lakehead Harvest Reunion
Lakehead Harvest Reunion is once-a-year, educational non-profit organization in Esko, MN- during the last full weekend of August. Our goal is to not only bring back memories, but to teach younger generations about antique agricultural machinery by demonstrating them right before their eyes! At our show we'll feature Saw-milling, Threshing, Blacksmiths, Shingle Making, Antique Rock crushing, Steam and Gas Models, a Tractor Pull, hundreds of antique tractors and so much more! DULUTH HUSKIES BASEBALL
Bring the whole family and enjoy outdoor Northwoods League Baseball at historic Wade Stadium in Duluth MN. The Season opens on June 2 and ends August 10, 2019.
Come see the best of the collegiate baseball players who come from around the country to spend their summer playing for the Huskies and the other Northwoods league teams from the La Crosse Loggers to the Kalamazoo Growlers.
The Wade experience encompasses Wade Plaza, in between game antics, contests, games and of course the Kennel Klub, our enhanced food and beverage outing, while you watch the game. COUNTY SEAT THEATER COMPANY
The Encore Performing Arts Center and Gallery has been the home of the County Seat Theater Company since 2008. Seating 135 patrons on raised seating, there is not a bad seat in the house. Enjoy local art in the gallery and a glass of wine before the show. This is Community Theater at its BEST!
The County Seat Theater Company has been producing top notch theater in Carlton County since 1987, progressing to a national award winning community theater! The Arts Center includes a space for local artists to showcase their work and provides the community with a full season of plays, concerts and events. LAKE SUPERIOR ZOO
The Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth, MN, is the region’s wildest place to explore and be inspired. The zoo is the only institution in the Northland that is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums, and is in the less than 10% of animal exhibitors of the 2,800 in the United States that are accredited! The Lake Superior Zoo’s mission is to provide close-up animal experiences which inspire connections to wildlife and action toward conservation in our region and around the world.
With over 300 animals representing 150 global and local species, the zoo is a must-see when visiting Duluth! Lake Superior Youth Chorus
For over 25 years, Lake Superior Youth Chorus (LSYC) has been providing exceptional choral music training for the youth of the Twin Ports area. LSYC has three resident choirs (Choristers, Concert Choir, and Cantemus) and several outreach programs for students in grades 3-10 from the greater Duluth area.
Performance opportunities for singers are many and varied, including three major concerts and other performances scheduled as opportunities arise. LSYC has performed on The Morning Program of Minnesota Public Radio and at state and regional conventions of the Music Educators National Conference.
