Classical MPR’s Bring the Sing
March 23 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pmFree
Members of the Duluth community and surrounding areas are invited to join their neighbors in song at the 2019 Bring the Sing, hosted by Classical Minnesota Public Radio. Free and open to the public, this choral event for all vocal abilities will take place Saturday, March 23, at the College of St. Scholastica’s Mitchell Auditorium.
The spirit behind Bring the Sing is to forge community and interpersonal ties through communal choral singing, connecting participants in ways not otherwise possible. Bring the Sing events have taken place across Minnesota and are open to everyone, regardless of musical abilities and backgrounds. The ability to read sheet music is not a requirement to participate.
Co-conductors Bret Amundson and Sara Ludwig, both from the College of St. Scholastica, will lead the festivities, with Emily Valine on piano.
The morning will include a get-to-know-you break with refreshments.
Registration is required by going to classicalmpr.org/sing. Registrants can request copies of sheet music be mailed to them in advance, and Duluth participants can pick up sheet music at Whole Foods Coöp (both locations). Sheet music will also be available at Mitchell Auditorium the morning of the event. Same-day registration at the event is welcome. Contact email@example.com with any questions.
