4th Annual Duluth Monarch Festival

The Monarch Butterflies are Coming!
Bring your family to the Duluth Monarch Festival on Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Coppertop Church, Duluth.
Special guest, Larry Weber, will speak about “In a Patch of Goldenrod.”
New mini-session this year: “How to Raise Monarch Butterflies” presented by local butterfly experts.
Shoreview Natives, from Two Harbors, will sell milkweed and other native pollinator plants, all from seed locally collected.
Children’s crafts, face painting, monarch movies.
Live monarch eggs, caterpillars, and butterflies.
Lauralloons Balloon Twisting will work her magic. Children will be fascinated by the butterflies and caterpillars being created out of balloons by local artist Laural Schultze.
The NE MN Beekeepers’ Association, Wild Ones, Masters Gardeners, the Duluth Garden Flower Society, etc. will host information tables.
Purchase monarch T-shirts, books, and toys. FREE milkweed seed!
Love Creamery’s ice cream and other food available.
