Kids and adults came out to the crosswalks near Myers-Wilkins Elementary School in Duluth Wednesday morning (June 26) to help paint two large-scale pieces that represent the neighborhood’s culture.

The rabbit school bus and the seven generation puzzle piece are the first of four crosswalks to be painted around Duluth this summer.

Visual artist Moira Villiard designed the murals after consulting with neighbors about what matters most to them about their community.
