The Black Water Lounge California Sushi Roll
- Half sheet of nori
- 1 cup of sushi rice (we can show how to cook this)
- 4 oz of crab
- 2 oz of sliced cucumber
- ¼ oz of fresh avocado
- Shake of sesame seeds
Cover your bamboo rolling mat with plastic wrap.
Lay 1 sheet of nori, shiny side down, on the rolling mat. Wet your fingers with water and spread about 1/2 cup of sushi rice evenly onto the nori.
Turn the sheet of nori over (rice side is down.)
Place a piece of the cucumber, the avocado, and crab stick in the center of the sheet.
Using the mat, roll the roll into a tight cylinder, using the mat to shape the cylinder.
Pull away the mat and cover the roll with seasame seeds.
Cut roll into 8 pieces.
Serve with pickled ginger, wasabi and soy sauce.
