Like a lot of people, I enjoy touring Bentleyville each year. The lights, the music, the sight of young children roasting marshmallows or sitting on Santa’s lap, they’re all part of the magic of the season.
So is the spirit of giving, and a lot of giving goes into assembling, running and then removing Bentleyville’s decorations, structures and upwards of 4 million lights spread around Bayfront Festival Park. Volunteers began the task back in September, and are still working to have everything ready for Bentleyville’s Nov. 18 opening.
