Cloud 9 Asian Bistro is located at 308 S Lake Ave in Canal Park.
Duluth.com started out with two bubble teas: green tea and mango. Bubble tea is a refreshing Taiwanese tea-based drink with chewy tapioca balls.
Shortly after placing our order, staff served us warm miso soup and crisp salad with flavorful ginger dressing.
Not naming any names... but we have one major edamame fan in our Duluth.com group. Edamame is also known as steamed soybeans, and Cloud 9 serves them up warm and salted, with ample soy sauce available for dipping.
Richard (our digital marketing strategist) was feeling spicy today, so he went all out with Cloud 9's Kiss of Fire roll with a side of super white tuna.
The Kiss of Fire roll features spicy tuna, cream cheese and sriracha mayo topped with fresh jalapenos. Richard says the creaminess of the cream cheese with the crunchy jalapeno created a wonderful contrast.
If fish isn't up your alley, may we recommend a vegetarian option or two? Michelle (our multimedia producer) opted for an oshinko roll (right) and a fried sweet potato roll (left). Oshinko is a type of Japanese pickle. When rolled into sushi, it offers a sweet, creamy beginning with a nice crunch in the middle.
