Duluthians Weigh In on Legging Debate

We’re sure you’ve heard the story by now . . . This past weekend, a United Airlines gate attendant at the Denver International Airport told two teenage girls they could not board the flight to Minneapolis wearing leggings. The girls were travelling on airline employee standby tickets and thus were expected to adhere to the dress policy the airline has in place for its employees.

Much to our relief, United has since stated mainstream passengers are welcome to wear leggings on board.

Since the topic seems to be more controversial than climate change and the recent Presidential election, Duluth.com took to the streets to ask this pressing question . . . Are leggings pants???

Duluth News Tribune columnist Christa Lawler chimed in on the issue a few years back, click here to read her controversial column.
